ARDMEANACH

Panoramic photographic view of the Ardmeanach peninsular, Mull, viewed from the road to Gribun.

SIMPLY MULL

SIMPLY MULL

A peninsular on the west of Mull lying between Loch na Keal to the north and Loch Scridain to the south.

Ardmeanach overlooks Inch Kenneth island and the mouth of Loch na Keal to the north with Staffa to the west and Ulva to the north.

The peninsular stands guard over the green fields of Ballymeanach Farm which nestles below the crags and is bordered by the single track road from Kilfinichan that goes on to Gribun and Loch na Keal.

The high point of the road from Kilfinichan reveals stunning views across to Inch Kenneth, Ulva and the Treshnish Isles before descending steeply towards Gribun through a series of sharp bends and the high bluffs of the mountains that include Ben More on the right.

Sparsely populated with a few cottages this is a wild and beautiful location.
